Bloody, Mills&Boon

Soumya and Alex met through work about a year ago, and bonded over books, writing, and shawarma.

One day they were laughing at the titles of the Mills & Boon books (seriously, if you haven't, have a look), and Alex was explaining the secret code behind the colours of the covers. She asked if he was an expert because he loved reading them, and that led to a conversation about why he hadn't, and wouldn't, and then onto a wider chat about why men don't read any romantic fiction.

You can see where the idea for the podcast came from!

Over the following few months they developed the idea and decided that it might actually be fun to read some proper romance, with a mind to record and podcast their thoughts.

P.S. The podcast is a work-in-progress because they are a bunch of serial procrastinators who are also perfectionists. Apologies.
